Intenté ©

Manos contritas
Fotos marchitas
Y las luces no brillan más
Se apagaron y se llevaron la sonrisa
Que tanto busqué en mi vida
Ahora no sé qué hacer
Quema y no deja verme

Me duele perder

The Bridge

Where are we going?
Why the fast pace...?
My feet are tired,
My head is exhausted
Roundabouts
No way out
Circles
Back to square one
Against my will
But under my consent
Even though I've never been here before
This bridge looks so familiar
It brings me so many memories
Of you and me, apart
Caution, the floor is wet
And we might fall, again
All over again
Can't you see?
This is complicated
And loops make crazy
Tonight, I realize
You brought me here
Why did I let you?
'Cause I've let you
Why did I let myself?
I want to run as far as I can
Even if I slip on my way out
I don't care
I've broken my nose before
But I need to burn this bridge
Even if it's the only way to you
The one bridge that once united us
Is the one bridge that divide us
Once more, divided.

I knew

I knew
I always knew
In the snow, or the beach
Mountain high, valley low
You were going to be there
Present

I knew that your presence
Would make my allergies senseless
In the dark, in the light
You always make me shine
Even when I can't see it

I knew
That your words are promises
Things that I can believe in
Beyond comprehension
Your peace is, will be

I knew
I know, I want to know more
Of your heart, your spirit, your soul
More of you, drink up
Until my thirst is quenched

I Wish, I Wish ©

I wish I could inspire you
Just like you inspire me
I wish I could sing
All the beautiful things you say to me
I wish I could play
The notes I hear when I'm with you
Sweet mornings
Warm afternoons
Silent nights
Next to you
I wish, I wish

Found By Love

I sing
I sing because I know that you
Somewhere, near or far
Are listening

I sing
I sing because I know that you
will find me

I want
I want to be found
By love

Through it All

Seas
Mountains
Deserts
Perils
Trials
And tribulations
But through it all
You, Lord have kept me...
Always, everytime
I am thankful
I´m still here
I am blessed

When Colors Turn ©

When colors turn
You and only you
Are in my thoughts

When colors turn
Is like your face
Is smiling back at me

When colors turn
I take a deep breath and realize
How much I miss you

When colors turn
The strings of my guitar
Call out your name

When colors turn
The sound of your voice
Brings a smile on my face

When colors turn
Technicolor butterflies
Flush down my stomach

When colors turn
My soul warms up
Everything makes sense
Because you are here
And everything
Falls into its place
When color turn

Mi Todo©

Un amanecer
Un atardecer
Un anochecer
Unos brazos
Que me abrazan
Tus brazos
Que me amarran
Tu abrigo
Que me calma
Tu abrazo
Mi tranquilidad
Tu corazón palpitando
Mi descanso
Tu respiración
Mi 5ta. sinfonía
Tu y yo
Mi deseo
Nosotros
Lo que anhelo
Las olas
Las estrellas
La arena
Mis testigos
Y tú
Mi causa
Mi mar
Mi todo

Here I Stand

Here I stand
Myself with empty hands
Thirsty of yours arms
And the smell of your skin

Here I stand
My heart in my hands
And the sound of empty space
Ringing in my head

Here I stand
Hopelessly waiting for you
Making excuses to justify
The absence of you and my fear

Here I stand
Listening to the clock tic
While I drench myself in wine
But nothing seems to ease my mind

Here I stand
Crying and wondering
When I could be happy
Smiling and shinning my light

Here I stand
Watching the sun set
Since you never came
The warmth of the walked away

Here I stand
Trying to rationalize
The fall of our secret
The extinction of our flame

Here I stand
Gathering thoughts in my room
After I pictured us flying high
As the "Big couple of the West"

Here I stand
When I could let my anger
Speak bad of myself
Busting the windows of your car...

Here I stand
Wasting precious time of my life
Writing away the feelings I got left
The things you never got to see face to face

Here I stand
Like a rock in the sea
Watching the waves break
And once they go, they don't come back

Here I stand
Both feet on the ground
Considering the facts of our split
And that I could've been very mean
But Instead I chose to be clean
And kind to you and to myself
