1549 = Love

What happened yesterday in the Hudson River with the US Airways 1549, is a miracle of LOVE. I am not talking about the crash, the chaos, or the cold, because no one wants to be in that situation, ever, but starting with the pilot, who made a life saving decision, was a love thing. Pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberg III, the rest of the crew, the passengers, and their absence of fear were present and filled with love. Strangers helping strangers to save each other, that is love. Thank God.

Hola pueblo! Aquí una cancioncita de Navidad "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)". Está en inglés pero pronto haré una versión de "Felíz Navidad".  Espero que puedan sentir la alegría que sentí cuando canté esta canción, a pesar de que las letras no sean muy alegres, pero todo está en el espíritu, cierto? Bueno, por estos lados se celebra el día de Acción de Gracias, Thanksgiving y aunque siempre estoy agradecido, quiero aprovechar la oportunidad para dar gracias!

• A Dios por todo, las cosas buenas y las que a veces no entiendo... por guardar mi sanidad en todos los sentidos, por abrazarme cuando más lo necesito, por hacerme saber que está cerca todos los días, por reorganizar mi vida y darme aliento para seguir, no matter what!

No on Prop 8 Rally

Oradores en el evento

Esta tarde tuve la grandiosa oportunidad de participar en un rally en contra de la proposición 8 en el estado de California. Canté 2 canciones: "No One" y "Don't Matter". Fue una experiencia muy apera cantar frente aproximadamente 1,000 personas. Esto cada vez de pone mejor... Disfruten!

Mi Guía

Muchas veces nos detenemos por cosas tan diminutas, cuando deberíamos seguir caminando, cruzar intersecciones, y no con esto digo que sea fácil, pero se puede. Siempre nos enseñaron mirar hacia los dos lados antes de cruzar las calles y mirar donde pisamos y aún así creo que todo el mundo se ha caído una o dos veces. Tenemos dudas.

También hay veces que andamos corriendo, con tantas cosas en la cabeza, en las manos ocupadas, y con los cordones desamarrados. Igual nos caemos. A veces tenemos bajar la marcha y detenernos. Pensar, recolectar nuestras ideas y sentimientos, y descansar.

Sea cual sea mi situación, quiero saber cuando avanzar ó cuando detenerme.

Dios sea mi guía, mi fuego de noche y mi nube de día.
